15 de jun. de 2021 · Delmer Daves died in 1977 and was survived by his wife, the author Mary Lou Lawrence, a son and two daughters. Film critic Kim Newman said of Daves and Anthony Mann that they were able to “ring changes” on seemingly familiar Western storylines by “playing up the psychologically acute reflections of their characters” in relation to the landscape as well as to each other.
