John Pym (1584-1643) fue un político y líder puritano inglés que se desempeñó como miembro del Parlamento durante el reinado de Carlos I. Defendió el puritanismo, el parlamentarismo y los derechos del pueblo frente al absolutismo real. Lideró al Partido Puritano durante la guerra civil inglesa hasta su muerte por cáncer en 1643.
