Zubin Mehta (født 29. april 1936 i Mumbai) er en indiskfødt dirigent av europeisk klassisk musikk. Liv og virke. Mehta ble født inn i en parsisk familie i Bombay (nå Mumbai), India. Han er sønn av fiolinisten Mehli og Tehmina Mehta. Mehli Mehta var, ved siden av å være fiolinist, også Bombay Symfoniorkesters grunnlegger og første dirigent.
Zubin Mehta. Born in Bombay, India, Zubin Mehta grew up in a musical environment. His father, Mehli Mehta, founded the Bombay Symphony and was Music Director of the American Youth Symphony in Los Angeles. In 1954 he left for Vienna to study at the Academy of Music and seven years later, he conducted both the Vienna and Berlin Philharmonics.

Zubin Mehta was born on 29 April 1936 in Bombay, Bombay Presidency, British India. He is an actor, known for Manhattan (1979), Cold Pursuit (2019) and Strictly Ballroom (1992). He has been married to Nancy Kovack since 19 July 1969.
