Circa 1760, built for a John Smith esquire, architect not known, in "Gothick" style and called Ashgrove. Remodelled c1828 by Basevi for a William Haldimand, who financed much of the building of Belgrave Square.

Lavinia Cohn-Sherbok (born Surrey, England) is a novelist, the author of numerous books about Judaism and Christianity, and was the Principal of West Heath Girls' School. Biography [ edit ] She was educated at Benenden School, Girton College , Cambridge, and the University of Kent , Canterbury.

3 de mar. de 2023 · History. The Reverend Philip Bennet Power and his wife, Emma, undertook the education of their own daughters at their Abbey Wood home, West Heath House. The quality of the girls' education attracted other local families to ask the Powers to teach their children and West Heath School thus opened in 1865.
