Caroline de Hesse-Darmstadt. Caroline de Hesse-Darmstadt (2 martie 1746 – 18 septembrie 1821) a făcut parte din nobilimea germană. A fost fiica cea mare a lui Ludovic al IX-lea, Landgraf de Hesse-Darmstadt și a soției acestuia, Caroline de Zweibrücken. La 27 septembrie 1768 s-a căsătorit cu Frederic al V-lea, Landgraf de Hesse-Homburg .

Caroline of Hesse-Homburg (1819-1872), was a Princess consort of Reuss of Greiz by marriage to Henry XX, Prince Reuss of Greiz. She was the regent of the Principality of Reuss-Greiz during the minority of her minor son, Heinrich XXII, Prince Reuss of Greiz, from 1859 until 1867.

She was the twelfth child (and sixth daughter) of Frederick V, Landgrave of Hesse-Homburg and Caroline of Hesse-Darmstadt, thus being a granddaughter of Countess Palatine Caroline of Zweibrücken, known as the "great Landgräfin". Maria Anna belonged to the anti-Napoleon-party around Queen Louise and supported the war against France in 1806.
