Fellowships and tuition scholarships are applied toward the cost of tuition. We also offer Production Associate (PA) positions.

  2. The Tisch School of the Arts was established at New York University (NYU) in 1965 to provide conservatory-style training in theater and film. Within a few years, Tisch established its place as one of the best in the nation, expanding its departments to include dance, theater design and lighting, and cinematic studies.

Tisch Summer High School program is an intensive 4-week program through which students recieve professional training from Tisch faculty in one of eight artistic disciplines, including Dance, Drama, Game Design, Recorded Music, and more (see below). Program curricula for each artistic track follows the first-year undergraduate curricula at Tisch.

Whether you’re an NYU or visiting college student, high school student or working professional, we provide you with the introductory exposure to the performing or cinematic arts and the advanced-level training to grow your craft.

  5. The Department of Art & Public Policy at NYU Tisch is an interdisciplinary department focusing on the relationship between art and politics. Courses focus on the interplay between theory and practice; critiquing systems of power through a lens of arts activism.

  6. Summer at Tisch. Pursue academic studies of the arts or professional-conservatory training with Tisch faculty of artists and scholars. Take an in-person class in New York City or enroll in an online course. You will create and collaborate with students from around the world, opening doors for new networking opportunities.
