Hace 3 días · So as it stands right now if you use BMD 4k / 6k cameras and a MixPre, all of your timecode will be synced by the output of the ATEM Mini. The issues start when you use other external sources. Hace 5 días · That is the Source Timecode of the clip, as shot in camera. Professional (and some prosumer) cameras all record video with embedded timecode, and it's generally frowned upon to have timecodes that start at 0:00:00:00. Many productions also record using ToD (time of day) timecode, which matches the "real" clock time that it was originally recorded.
Hace 2 días · Timecode generators work through the SMPTE definitions of timecode which include up to 30fps, I believe. Anything beyond that works in multiples of a defined timecode. So if you shoot in 48fps, then you assign a timecode of 24fps in your timecode generator, etc. I don't have personal experience with this but have done some reading.

I have noticed that although timecode will come via SDI to the hyperdeck it will not pass through from the ATEM to the hyperdeck.. No matter we managed to resolve that by simply pushing timecode via XLR directly.
