Queen's College in Twentieth Century Impressions of Hongkong, Shanghai, and other Treaty Ports of China (1908) In 1889, construction of the school was completed at a cost of HKD250,000, making it one of the largest and most expensive buildings in Hong Kong at that time. In 1894, the school was officially renamed Queen's College.
Queen's College, the oldest Government secondary school in Hong Kong, has a glorious history of almost 160 years.
