William Neville, Earl of Kent KG (c. 1405 – 9 January 1463) and jure uxoris 6th Baron Fauconberg, was an English nobleman and soldier. He fought during the latter part of the Hundred Years' War , and during the English dynastic Wars of the Roses .

John (7 April 1330 – 26 December 1352), an English nobleman, was the Earl of Kent (1331–52) and 4th Baron Wake of Liddell (1349–52). Thomas’s uncle John (Joan’s second son) was executed at the same time. John Holland had married another wealthy royal cousin, Elizabeth of Lancaster (John of Gaunt’s daughter).
