19 de oct. de 2016 · Marina Mniszech was born around 1588 as the daughter of Jadwiga Tarło and Jerzy Mniszech. All we know from her early youth is that she was taught to read and write, as well as singing, dance and embroidery. Around 1604 she met False Dmitriy I, a man who pretended to be the son of Ivan the Terrible, and agreed to marry him.
Marina Mniszech or Marina Mnishek was a Polish noblewoman who was the tsaritsa of all Russia in May 1606 as the wife of False Dmitry I during the Time of Troubles. Following his death, she later married another imposter to the throne, False Dmitry II. A devout Catholic, she hoped to convert Russia's population to Catholicism.
