Harriet Taylor (Londres, 8 de outubro de 1807 – Avinhão, 3 de novembro de 1858), ou Harriet Taylor Mill, foi uma filósofa e defensora dos direitos das mulheres. Membro original da Sociedade Kensigton , que produziu a primeira petição requerendo votos para as mulheres, Harriet também defendeu o direito das mulheres no sentido de serem autorizadas a tomar parte no governo local.
Harriet Taylor Mill was an English philosopher and early advocate for women’s rights whose philosophical contribution is often subsumed under the works of her husband, the philosopher John Stuart Mill. She was born in London in 1807 as the daughter of Thomas Hardy and his wife Harriet Hurst and received a decent education at home.

Así, Harriet Hardy cambió por primera vez sus apellidos (otra muestra del papel secundario que ocupaban las mujeres) a Harriet Taylor (Gallego y Perdices de Blas, 2018). Taylor conoció a su segundo marido, el filósofo, político y economista John Stuart Mill, en torno a 1830, entablando una profunda amistad y enamorándose rápidamente.
