30 de dic. de 2023 · In 1997, Lennon joined New York-based Japanese duo Cibo Matto, which included his live-in girlfriend Yuka Honda, for their second EP Super Relax. Honda produced Lennon's debut solo album Into The Sun in 1998. A music video for the track Home enjoyed extended airplay on MTV.

19 de feb. de 2023 · Lennon played bass for the group on tour, appeared with them on television, played bass, and sang vocals on their EP entitled "Super Relax." Through his relationship with Cibo Matto, Adam Yauch (of the Beastie Boys ) got to know Lennon.
In 1997 Lennon (along with fellow IMA member Timo Ellis) joined New York-based Japanese duo Cibo Matto (Miho Hatori & Yuka Honda) for their second EP, Super Relax. Through his association with Cibo Matto, he was approached by the Beastie Boys' Adam Yauch, who expressed an interest in his music.
