Bobby Jaspar (20 February 1926 – 28 February 1963) was a Belgian cool jazz and hard bop saxophonist, flautist and composer. Early life [ edit ] Born in Liège , Belgium, Jaspar learned to play piano and clarinet at a young age. [1]

Some weeks later this LP was cut with Bobby Jaspar, Maurice Vandair, Jean-Marie Ingrand and Jean Louis Viale. These Paris recordings gave the American audiences an opportunity to hear not only more of Raney's fine style and sound, articulated as always with brilliance and taste, but also something of what was going on in jazz across the ocean.
