Charles Philippe of France Son of France, Duke of Anjou (August 1668 - 10 July 1671) was a son of King Louis XIV of France and his wife Maria Theresa of Austria.He was given the title Duke of Anjou at birth.
On 8 December 2004, Henry, Count of Paris, Duke of France, Orléanist Pretender to the French throne, granted the title Duke of Anjou to his nephew, Charles-Philippe d'Orléans. Since he did not recognize his cousin's courtesy title, in his view, the title was available since 1795.

Philippe was styled Duke of Anjou from birth; this title had last been bestowed on his father, from his own birth in 1710 until his accession to the throne in 1715. Philippe grew up at Versailles with his brother, the Dauphin, and their twin sisters Louise Élisabeth ( Madame Royale , later Duchess of Parma) and Henriette ( Madame Seconde ).
