Bernard Montgomery Bernard Law Montgomery Militar británico Nació el 17 de noviembre de 1887 en Londres. Fue el cuarto hijo del reverendo Henry Montgomery, y su esposa, Maud Farrar. Cursó estudios en la Real Academia Militar de Sandhurst.
Bernard Law Montgomery was born in London in 1887. After attending the Royal Military College at Sandhurst, he was commissioned into the Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Early in the First World War (1914-18), he was shot through the lung by a sniper during the First Battle of Ypres (1914). His wound was so severe that a grave was prepared for him.
