Paul Copley (born 25th November, 1944; Denby Dale, West Yorkshire, England) is the actor who plays Mr Mason in Downton Abbey. Copley and Downton co-stars Jonathan Coy and Robert Bathurst all starred in the television series Horatio Hornblower.
