Biography. Elisabeth was the eldest child of Friedrich VI, Burggraf von Nürnberg, and his wife, Elisabeth von Bayern-Landshut, and was born between 1 May and 29 September 1403. [1] Elisabeth Brandenburg died 31 OCT 1449 and was buried at the monastery Kartause Liegnitz in Legnica, Poland. [2]
