The School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University (Museum School, SMFA at Tufts, or SMFA; formerly the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston) is the art school of Tufts University, a private research university in Boston, Massachusetts.
The Museum houses everything from ancient Greek sculpture to contemporary video art, to a surprisingly large collection of bagpipes – as well as the work of many SMFA alumni. More than free admission, our students have unparalleled access to the MFA’s collections, events, and large professional network.

You’ll do it all in a city where art—and art making—is everywhere. The School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University offers undergraduate students a BFA degree or 5-year combined degree (BFA + BA/BS).
