She was best known for her dual role in Alfred Hitchcock’s psychological thriller Vertigo. Her other movies included The Man with the Golden Arm, Picnic, Pal Joey, and Bell, Book and Candle.
Kim Novak asistió a la Elementary, Farragut High School y al Wright Junior College. Recibió dos becas para la School of the Art Institute of Chicago y durante las vacaciones de verano, en su último semestre de colegio, trabajó como modelo en ferias comerciales para una empresa de frigoríficos.
