Alicia Myers is an American R&B musician. Beginning her music career with the band Al Hudson & the Soul Partners, who later evolved into One Way, Myers went on to a moderately successful solo career in the early 1980s, scoring hits such as "I Want to Thank You", "Don't Stop What You're Doin'", and "You Get the Best from Me".

Alicia Myers. More images. Profile: US funk, soul & disco singer. Born in Detroit, Michigan, U.S. she moved to Los Angeles in 1972 where she won a talent contest along with her brother Jackie Myers. She joined One Way in 1977 for three years and from 1980 she went solo, releasing four albums by 1984. She made a comeback with a fifth album in 2011.
A performer since childhood, R&B artist Alicia Myers won a talent contest in her native Detroit at the age of 10, when she and her brother Jackie dueted on a cover of Ashford & Simpson's "Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing," a Motown classic popularized by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell.
