Elizabeth FitzRoy, Duchess of Grafton (née Wrottesley; 1 November 1745 – 25 May 1822) was the second wife of Augustus FitzRoy, 3rd Duke of Grafton (sometime duke and prime minister). They married on 24 June 1769 at Woburn Abbey in Bedfordshire , England , three months after his divorce.
Duke of Grafton is a title in the Peerage of England.It was created in 1675 by Charles II of England for Henry FitzRoy, his second illegitimate son by the Duchess of Cleveland.
Isabella Bennet FitzRoy, Duchess of Grafton and later 2nd Countess of Arlington suo jure (c. 1668 – 7 February 1723), was a British peer and heiress. Life Isabella Bennet was the only daughter of Henry Bennet, 1st Earl of Arlington , a Royalist commander, by his wife, Elisabeth of Nassau (1633–1718).
The Duke of Grafton and his wife Isabella only had one child --Charles FitzRoy -- who inherited his father’s titles, lands and estates. Through the second duke and his wife, the Grafton line was further secured via their seven children.
