Edaravone injection comes as a solution (liquid) to be injected intravenously (into a vein) over 60 minutes by a health care professional in a doctor's office or medical facility. Initially, it is usually given once a day for the first 14 days of a 28-day cycle. After the first cycle, it is given once a day for the first 10 days of a 28-day cycle.

Standard working solutions for edaravone (0.02, 0.05, 0.5, 2, 10, and 20 μg/mL) and IS (20 ng/mL) were diluted with 50% methanol from their standard stock solutions.
