Bonnie and Clyde met in Texas in 1930 when she was 19 and he was 21. At the time, Bonnie was married to a man who was in prison for murder.

The couple, who had previously eluded law enforcement, appeared in broad daylight in a car in Louisiana and were shot to death by four Texas police officers and two Louisiana police officers.
