When Figaro was revived in Vienna in 1789, Storace was replaced by Adriana Ferrarese del Bene, Da Ponte's lover du jour. Mozart wrote two new arias for Ferrarese del Bene, replacing Susanna's cavatina brilliance “Venite ingionocchiatevi“ (when she and the Countess are dressing—and undressing—Cherubino) and the standout “Deh vieni non tardar“ (her Act IV declaration of love for Figaro).
