The adjacent Royal Burial Ground includes the simple graves of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor as well as a number of "minor" Royals.
Hace 4 días · Watch them here . The Royal Mausoleum was built in in 1862, shortly after the premature death of Prince Albert. The entire project was overseen by Queen Victoria. After enlisting Prince Albert's principal artistic advisor Ludwig Gruner to build The Mausoleum, Queen Victoria remained heavily involved in all elements of its design.
20 de jul. de 2023 · Queen Victoria regularly visited the Mausoleum, and an annual service was held there on 14 December, the date of Albert's death. When The Queen died in January 1901 her body was placed there alongside that of her husband. The Mausoleum of The Duchess of Kent, mother of Queen Victoria, stands on a wooded mound to the west of Frogmore House.

For almost 20 years, Frogmore was the home of Queen Victoria's mother, The Duchess of Kent. Works by her and her daughter are on display in the house. Queen Victoria often visited Frogmore during her long widowhood and worked on her papers there. You can also see watercolours by her daughters, the Princess Victoria and Louise in the house.
