Rex Ingram. Actor: God's Little Acre. A Corsicana native, Rex (Clifford) Ingram was the son of Mack and Mamie Ingram. He graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in medicine before launching a brilliant acting career which spanned 50 years.

Welcome to the Rex Ingram Archive. This site is dedicated to one of Ireland’s most successful, and least celebrated, film directors. Born the son of a Church of Ireland rector in Dublin in 1892, and reared in the Irish midlands, Ingram emigrated to the United States in his teens, never to return to the country of his birth.
It was Mathis who was responsible for insisting that the still little-known Rex Ingram be hired as director on her next major project, an adaptation of Vicente Blasco Ibáñez’s best-selling novel, The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
