Since 1863, Dartmouth has been the home of initial Naval Officer training in the UK. Today, it is the only remaining Naval College in the country. Public Tours, lasting approximately 2 hours and fifteen minutes, start from a convenient pick-up point in Dartmouth town, from where you will be taken to the College by coach for a walking tour. Britannia Royal Naval College is a working military establishment and photographic identification (photocopies not permitted) will be required for access.

It has been at the forefront of the education and development of world class Naval Officers in Dartmouth since 1863.
In addition, he was briefly an exchange student at Lakefield College School in Ontario, Canada. After completing his secondary education, he entered Britannia Royal Naval College (BRNC), Dartmouth, in 1979 to train as a naval officer, following in his father’s footsteps. Andrew completed the course at BRNC in 1980.
