He was posted to No. 1 Squadron at Tangmere on 18th August 1930. Charnock was cashiered by a court-martial on 12th December 1930 for a low-flying offence.
Hace 2 días · Charterhall began life as a First World War landing ground named Eccles Tofts for No 77 Squadron from at least the beginning of 1917 until 1919. The airfield is more famous however for its use during the Second World War, opening in the spring of 1942.

Hace 5 días · He entered the RAF College Cranwell in January 1935 as a Flight Cadet and graduated in December 1936 with a permanent commission. His first posting was to 74 Squadron at Horchurch in January 1937. He joined 79 Squadron on 22nd March 1937.
