Hace 3 días · The RECTORY estate belonged to Easton priory until the Dissolution, and in 1536 it was granted to Sir Edward Seymour, Viscount Beauchamp (cr. earl of Hertford 1537, duke of Somerset 1547). In 1547 Somerset gave it to the Crown in an exchange and the Crown granted it to St. George's chapel, Windsor.
