Hace 5 días · On July 16, 1918, the Ural Regional Soviet, led by Filipp Goloshchekin and Yakov Yurovsky, made the decision to execute the Romanovs. In the early hours of July 17, the family was woken and told to dress quickly, as they were being moved to a safer location. They were led down to the basement of the Ipatiev House, where they were told to wait.
