  2. 10 de may. de 2024 · At present the main beneficiary is the Royal Hospital School which was founded in Greenwich in 1712 and moved to Holbrook, near Ipswich, in 1933. The Royal Naval College used the Hospital's original buildings at Greenwich from 1873 until July 1998.

  3. Hace 3 días · THE ROYAL HOSPITAL. The building of the Royal Hospital, which continued occasionally to be called Chelsea College, had a striking effect on Chelsea's development. It was the first major new royal building since the Restoration, and gave Chelsea a cachet to counter the aristocracy's dwindling interest in residences in the riverside village.
