Hace 3 días · The estate passed, with Moorland manor in North Petherton, to Sir John Seymour, and from him to his son Edward, duke of Somerset. (fn. 157) On the duke's attainder and execution in 1552 his son John claimed the manor as the inheritance of his mother, the duke's first wife.
