Hace 4 días · I was born down Regent St, Stonehouse, and lived there 1920-39 and 1943-7. The shops on the right of the picture, at the top of Regent St, were Mullins and Bradley's, clothes shops for women and for men. The spire which is mentioned was the Methodist Church which was also Wycliffe College Chapel. On the extreme left was Miss Davis's sweet shop.
