Hace 5 días · The party thing. When the ABA was in San Francisco in ’85, our relationship with Bookpeople had evolved to “friendly competitors.” There wasn’t any animosity. They invited us to co-host the Small Press Party, as it was called then. Which was at the Gift Center. ZaSu Pitts Memorial Orchestra was the entertainment. That was unbelievable.
