The Earl promises that himself, his son and their heirs shall be true subjects. The King grants him the governance of the counties of Kilkenny, Tipperary, Waterford, Ossory and Ormond.

Copernicus first set forth his heliocentric theory of astronomy in a small work called the Commentariolus, which was not published until 1878.
