The parish was enclosed about the middle of the 17th century, Bridges recording eight houses in 1719 and saying that there had been more before enclosure.

Hace 2 días · An estate in this parish called Barnes between 1518 and 1529 appears to be the so-called manor of Barnes sold to Sir Edward Montagu in 1548 by John Banastre who seems to have acquired it from Sir Robert Kirkham. The manor of Barnwell All Saints had two dovecotes in the 14th century, twelve in 1548.

Harrison remained in Charles Fleetwood's regiment when it transferred to the New Model Army in 1645. Harrison fought at the decisive battle of Naseby.
