The oldest tomb in this chapel is that of Simon de Langham, who was a monk, prior, and afterwards Abbot of Westminster, Archbishop of Canterbury, and a cardinal.

The fourth daughter of Sir William Sidney, she was born in 1531, and married in 1555 Thomas Radcliffe, Viscount Fitzwalter, afterwards Earl of Sussex. She died on 9 March 1589, and was buried in Westminster Abbey. Her will is a lengthy document with a large number of bequests.
