The Mexican (2001) — dir. Gore Verbinski Saw this for the first time tonight and it was such an enjoyable watch. Great characters, accessible plot and dry humour, laced with tongue-in-cheek references to early-2000’s pop psychology, all wrapped up in a lovely y2k aesthetic that could almost be Tarantino-adjacent.
