Hace 4 días · Cary's heir was his son Henry, who in 1547, when he came of age, sold his interest in the hundred to Seymour, then duke of Somerset. The hundred passed back to the Crown on Somerset's execution and attainder in 1552, and in that year the Crown granted it to William Herbert, earl of Pembroke.
