The village of Isleworth is situated in the banks of the Thames, at the distance of eight miles and a half from Hyde-Park-corner. It lies within the hundred, to which it gives name. The parish is bounded on the south by the river Thames; on the east, north, and west, principally by Brentford, Heston (fn. 1), Twickenham, and Feltham.
