In 1410, while Jadwiga was still preganant, King Jagiello triumphed over Teutonic Order in Grunwald. However, after an unsuccessful two-month siege on Marienburg, Jagiello caught Dysentery in the camp and died at age of 38, leaving behind Jadwiga, his three children and a posthumous bornt son Władysław.
