The Master receives the income derived from the sale of the rectory of Ellingham (Norf.), given by the first Lord Braybrooke in 1797 and annexed to the Mastership. Hace 3 días · JESUS COLLEGE. History. Nothing is known of the steps which led up to the foundation of the college. The first extant document in its history is the letters patent of foundation issued by Queen Elizabeth on 27 June 1571, at the request of Dr. Hugh Price.
