Hace 4 días · William Macquarie Cowper (1810-1902), dean, was born on 3 July 1810 at Sydney, son of William Cowper, assistant colonial chaplain, and his second wife Ann, née Barrell. He was baptized at his father's church, St Philip's; Governor and Mrs Macquarie were among his godparents.
