Hace 4 días · Signature. Charles Martin (10 November 1433 – 5 January 1477) called The Bold, [a] was the last Duke of Burgundy from the Burgundian cadet branch of House of Valois from 1467 to 1477. He was the only legitimate son of Philip the Good and his third wife, Isabella of Portugal.

This idea is supported by what I saw of Louis XVI (from Wikipedia, anyways), that his father was Louis, Dauphin of France and was never numbered because unlike his father, Louis XV, he never became king. He had an older brother, Louis, Duke of Burgundy, who also was not numbered as he died at age 9. *The older Louis did have the title of Duke.

Pier Gerlofs Donia was born around 1480 in Kimswerd, a village near the city of Harlingen, in the region of Frisia, which today belongs to the Netherlands but then also encompassed parts of present-day Germany. His parents were Gerloff Piers and Fokel Sybrants Bonga, the latter the daughter of a local noble, and he had at least three siblings.
