Hace 2 días · The kingdom was formed when the Kingdom of Sicily merged with the Kingdom of Naples, which was officially also known as the Kingdom of Sicily. Since both kingdoms were named Sicily, they were collectively known as the "Two Sicilies" ( Utraque Sicilia , literally "both Sicilies"), and the unified kingdom adopted this name.

Charles led forces from both Naples and Sicily into battle on the side of Spain in the War of the Austrian Succession. That conflict ended in 1748.

It was my first time doing this. It was sorta like a one night cruise (less the amenities) but it was cheap and got me there while I slept in a nice comfortable bed.
