    Hace 4 días · Biography. Matilda d'Aubigny was the daughter of William d'Aubigny (d.1167/68) and Maud de Senlis, a cousin of Kings Malcolm IV and William I. She married Gilbert, earl of Strathearn (fl.1171-1223). In 1198 they founded the priory of Inchaffray which was elevated to an abbey in 1220 or 1221.
