Hace 3 días · Blount, Lord Mountjoy.—The family of Blount were, for several generations, of Barton-Blount, and of Elvaston near Derby. Sir Walter Blount, of Barton, was Standard-bearer to King Henry IV.; his descendant and name-sake, Lord Treasurer to King Edward IV., was, in 1465, created Lord Mountjoy of Thurvaston.
