Das Palais Coburg ist ein 1845 fertiggestelltes spätklassizistisches Stadtpalais im 1. Wiener Gemeindebezirk. Es befindet sich an der Adresse Coburgbastei 4 und wurde dort auf der Braunbastei, einem Rest der im 16. und 17. Jahrhundert geschaffenen und im 19. Jahrhundert geschleiften Basteien Wiens, errichtet.
Prince Ferdinand, a Cavalry General in the Imperial Austrian Army, has a magnificent palace built on Braunbastei. The plans are created by the architect Karl Schleps, who is almost unknown in Vienna. After Schleps’ death, the building is constructed by the master builder Adolph Korompay.
