Hace 1 día · The Production: 3.5/5 Director Raoul Walsh mixes some sturdy song standards with melodramatic noir touches to produce The Man I Love.A strong cast led by Ida Lupino and expert direction by the veteran Walsh keep things afloat for most of the running time, and only the screenwriter’s desire for a too tidy ending prevents this from being a much more haunting and memorably dark noir experience.
