The Grade II listed Link Sarah Siddons public house was originally a "three-quarter house" with a timber-framed front, and side and rear walls of stone. Formerly known as the Shoulder of Mutton Inn it was the birthplace of Sarah Siddons. Born on July 5 1755 as Sarah Kemble, she became a famous actress.

Other established trees border the former burial ground, which, with tombstones lined against its wall, stretches north to a children's playground.
